The Free Companies

I’m building The Free Companies, a persistent low-fantasy browser game about building power in a world that remembers. You start as a Peon, build a Homestead, equip followers, join or found a Company, and take part in Expeditions, World Events, rivalries, and wars. It is made for meaningful short sessions, but the world continues between visits. What players do becomes part of a public ledger: claims, bounties, deaths, victories, and losses. Character death is permanent, so choices matter.
