Heists contain multiple stages, and you have to decide how far you want to push your luck. You can walk away with your current rewards or continue for a bigger payout. The further you go, the more you have to lose if something goes wrong.

The Fifth Family also has a strong competitive side.

Players can take part in PvP and ranked Arena seasons, where preparation, equipment and character stats all play a role. You can also create or join a criminal family, recruit members, build a hierarchy and work together against rival families.

There is much more to The Fifth Family than crimes and combat.

Players can develop careers, complete achievements, collect equipment, upgrade items, build properties and work through a large number of progression systems.

The game also features a player-driven item market, stock market, smuggling routes, rackets, properties, vehicle racing and a Chop Shop. There are also collectible Vigilantes and exotic pets to discover and develop.
