Have been playing this for almost a month and I can honestly say I enjoy it. It’s not the typical kind of game I’m usually into but the gorgeous UI draws me in. This one requires lots of time and patience and strategic planning, which is almost enough to send me running (I have ADHD, sorry lol) but then you spot a neighboring NPC fleet heading your way to attack your colony and well, we can’t have that now, can we? It’s perfect for busy folks - you set a task, let it do its thing and check on it later. I’ll also say I appreciate all the neighboring NPC colonies because they’re set up as easy (and not so easy) practice targets when you’re just starting out.
