Paroxysm is a free text-based multiplayer RPG you can play in your browser. The setting is a modern supernatural dystopia: the old world opened gates to Hell, nearly half of humanity died, and the gates closed. Under the Cortex, one world government, people endure through surveillance, containment, and control. Player-led societies build their own beliefs and reasons to resist. Browse the rankings. The homepage shows the highest-voted games first. Open a category to find games in the genre you like.

Vote for your favourite. You can vote once every 24 hours for each game. Many games reward you inside the game for voting, for example with extra turns, cash or items.
